Alan Harris Rigid Koi Pond Design

Using our round pond 4000 litre rigid koi pond liner Alan kindly shows how he constructed his pond incorporating a wooden surround.

Firstly Alan made sure the ground were the liner is going to go is flat and firm and then placed the decking in the corner of his garden and made a space for the liner to fit.

By filling with water it allows you to see if the water level and that the pond is installed correctly.

Decking materials have been incorporated in the design before cladding the pond Alan uses polystyrene insulation to help protect from frost.

Capping off the edge with matching tanalised timber. Filtration is shown at the back with water cascading from the top.

Finally the finished off with planting.
